High Point, the loftiest part of LookoutMountain, has an elevation of 2,408 feet. Itsnortheastern spur, called Pigeon Mountain, hasan elevation of from to 2,000 feet abovethe sea, its highest point rising to 2,331 spur of Lookout, called Round Moun-tain, has an elevation of over 2,200 feet. Tay-lors Ridge and its prolongation, called theWhite Oak Mountains, rise to an elevation offrom to feet above sea-level. Alittle farther south, Rocky Face Ridge, with anelevation of from 1,500 to 1,700 feet, forms the. GEORGIA eastern watershed of Chickamauga Creek (orriver, as it is sometimes called), which flowsthrough the valley at an elevation of 900 feetabove the sea.
