Frankfurt, Germany. 17th Jun, 2018. A right-wing protester, wearing a soccer shirt from the German national team and carrying a German flag, looks at the counter-protest. Around 50 right-wing protesters followed the call of Heidi Mund, the former organiser of the FRAGIDA protest in Frankfurt, to use the newly styled 'Tag der Patrioten' (Day of the Patriots), to protest against the government and refugees outside the St. Paul's Church in Frankfurt, a symbol for German Democracy. The protest was part of a larger movement of different right-wing organisations to change the former Day of German Unity (17. June) to a Day of the Patriots in several German cities. The protest was hassled by around 300 counter protesters from several different parties and groups. (Photo by Michael Debets / Pacific Press)
