Families and service members take photos of a simulated aircraft crash burn at Misawa Air Base, Japan, Oct. 12, 2016. Approximately 80 attended the event including a mixture of Japanese nationals, Air Force and Navy service members and their families. The event included five fire scenarios and a dance-off between Smokey the Bear and Sparky the Fire Dog. The fire department's goal was to demonstrate firefighting tactics used by the firefighters.
