London, UK. 12 August, 2015. The award winning Finborough Theatre in LondonÕs EarlÕs Court is under threat of closure after 30 years. A freeholder is planning to develop above the theatre, altering its use for bedrooms into a self-contained flat. Neil McPherson, the theatreÕs Artistic Director is concerned that that the redevelopment will cause noise issues that will make performances unworkable. Although previous planning applications have been rejected by the Planning Inspectorate, McPherson is concerned that unless action is taken, this time the application will be approved.
