Floral Garlands of Nany, Third Intermediate Period, Dynasty 21, ca. 1050 , From Egypt, Upper Egypt, Thebes, Deir el-Bahri, Tomb of Meritamun (TT 358,), Mummy of Meritamun, 1928–29, Persea leaves, lotus petals, palm leaves, linen thread, Present approximate dimensions: L. 60 × W. 25 cm (23 5/8 × 9 13/16 in.), Nany bore the titles Mistress of the House, Chantress of Amun-Re, and King’s Daughter of his body. She was most likely the child of the High Priest of Amun, Painedjem I (ca. 1050 ), who was de facto ruler of the Theban area in the early 21st Dynasty
