5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (Feb. 7, 2018) Boatswain’s Mate Seaman Austin Schneider helps fold a battle ensign aboard the coastal patrol ship USS Hurricane (PC 3) during exercise Khunjar Haad. Khunjar Haad is a multilateral, surface, air and explosive ordnance disposal exercise with the Navy, Coast Guard, Royal Navy of Oman, Royal Air Force of Oman, Royal Saudi Naval Forces, France’s Marine Nationale and United Kingdom’s Royal Navy in order to enhance interoperability, mutual capability and support long-term regional cooperation of forces in the Arabian Gulf.
