A pair of princely flintlock pistols from the armoury of the Princes of Württemberg. Philipp Daniel Dargent, Ludwigsburg, circa 1740. Two-stage barrels, octagonal then round, made from differently grained Damascus. Smooth bores in 15 mm calibre. Superimposed front sights with finely engraved brass base plates.
