The Statue of Germania, which stood near the siock barns, did not, because of its location, attractthe attention it would have done nearer the center of the grounds. The statue had, however, autilitarian value, since it was cast in cement and seived to illustrate to what uses that substance prop-erly constituted may be diverted.
