The tops and bottomsare of 16 gage steel, except inthose cases where the shelf ex-tends to the base of the case, inwhich instances removable gage dust pans are backs, which are of No. 22gage steel, are flanged i/^ inchat right angles to back and arebolted to the uprights. All uprights arefaced with vertical %-inch brass tubespivoted at ends and secured with steelbrackets. These vertical rollers form acontinuous line from the top to the bot-. The outer faces of all swinging doors,which are built of No. 10 gage steel, arepaneled and finished with drawn steel flexible sheet with water-tight, smoke anddust-proof joints. Ball-bearing steel pul-leys are placed at the top and bottom anaare so connected with the two leaves thatthe closing of either leaf will also closethe other. The ends of omnibuses are ofXo. 10 gage steel, while thebacks of same are of No. 16 gagesteel.
