Angel is a sculpture of a foetal skeleton by sculptor Marc Quinn. It was part of an exhibition in Winchester Cathedral called Light which juxtaposed contemporary sculptures with ancient religious monuments. Quinn used a plastic medical model of a 22-week-old foetus to create the sculpture, making it in bronze and then painting it white.
