The E-3 Sentry Airborne Warning and Control System from the 552nd Air Control Wing takes off from Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. The AWACS was in Nevada to participate in Red Flag 21-3, held July 19 through Aug. 6, 2021. Red Flag provides aircrews the experience of multiple, intensive air combat sorties in the safety of a training environment.
