The repeating pattern along the lower half of the strip consists of a concatenation of U-shaped motifs made with ornamental grounds. Under every 'leg' of one you depend a rosette flower. The upper half of the strip has a wide spreading pattern from Moesjes between which one row hanging leaf packs. The motifs are partly equipped with contour wires and are connected to each other by a fine machining. A narrow edge along the top is made in machining roses. The sloping edge along the bottom of the strip is finished with picots.
