A Celtic linchpin of a war chariot, 3rd/2nd century BC Bronze/iron with emerald green patina. Tapered iron linchpin with two-fold openwork, riveted bronze disc and angle piece on the front side. The three-dimensionally modelled, stylised animal's head with red enamelled inlays in the eyes and on the forehead. Height cm.
