On the morning of Tuesday 29th April 2016, a tense situation arose on Prague's Badeniho Street where it intersects with Chodkova Street (Chodkova Street is to the left of this photograph) right on President Xi Jinping's route to Prague Castle to conduct official state business with Zeman. The flags of the People's Republic of China and corresponding banners mark welcome towards Xi Jinping. However, among persons standing there are also supporters of Falun Gong, who hold up banners calling for an end to the torture and persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. Here, Falun Gong practitioners wear yellow T-shirts. The banner states: "bring Jiang Zemin to justice". The police van seen here is near Mickiewiczova Street.
