Sak Yan master, Ajahn Noo Ganpai, shot to fame when he tattooed the actress Angelina Jolie. She has been to him twice and this exposure reinvigorated the tradition of Sak Yan amongst both foreigners and Thais. He is now Thailand's most famous Sak Yan master and his samnak in Pathum Thani near Bangkok is a very busy place.
