In this villa on January 20th, 1942, Reinhard Heydrich, Head of the Reich Security Main Office chaired a meeting of high-ranking civil servants and SS officers. The "Wannsee Conference" was concerned with the organisation of the so-called The Final Solution, the decision to deport the Jews of Europe to death camps in eastern Germany and to murder them.
