Oak Harbor, Wash. (June 4, 2012) Capt. Jay Johnston, left, commanding officer of Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Cmdr. (ret.) Harry Ferrier, a Battle of Midway veteran, and Master-at-Arms 1st Class Adam Dickson, assigned to the base security, throw a wreath during a ceremony to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the Battle of Midway. The Battle of Midway was the turning point in the Pacific War during World War II.
