JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM, Hawaii (May 30, 2018) – Sailors, assigned to the Los Angeles-class fast-attack submarine USS Santa Fe (SSN 763), heave additional foul-weather mooring lines in support of Hurricane Exercise (HURREX) in Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, May 30. HURREX allows Navy and Air Force activities in Hawaii to review, exercise and validate their response plans and operational capabilities as they pertain to the threat of hurricanes and effects of severe weather.
