Marines in the Solar Ready Vets course listen as Steve Auerbach, a course instructor, speaks during their graduation ceremony at the theater aboard Marine Corps Base Hawaii on May 11, 2017. The six-week course provided the Marines with basic knowledge of photovoltaic systems and prepared them for the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners PV Associates exam. Upon completion of the exam, the Marines will be qualified for solar energy related occupations.
