Cardinal maroon, rich and velvety; flowers 2£ to 2f inches in diameter. Very free in growth and bloom, much like Scott in habit. Stems slender and stiff, 16 to 24 inches long. The most perfectly formed and finished carnation yet raised; quite circular in out- line, and nicely rounded out with petals. Brings an enor- mous crop of flowers. Clean and healthy—fine stem.
