Early doubts and fears did not mate-rialize. On the contrary, clinical results have gone beyondour expectations. Important questions have been answeredsatisfactorily; the technique has been perfected until nowthere should be no doubt of the legitimate practicabilityof this therapeutic measure in properly selected cases.
