Indonesia, Papua, Biak Island, Goa Jepang, the Japanese Cave served as a base and hiding place for Japanese soldiers during World War II. In 1944, 3000 Japanese died there when the US military drilled a hole in the top of the cave, pourred oil in it, and then bombed it.
