Hoosier Beauty. Intense rich, dazzling crimson-scarlet, good sized full flowers deliciously scented. H. V. Machin. A gorgeous flower of large size; in color an intensely black-grained scarlet-crimson, carried on rigid, sturdy stems with ideal foliage. A vigorous, strong growing Rose. Imperial Potentate. See page 49. Independence Day. An entirely distinct and novel color that at once arrests attention, a rich orange-apricot suffused with sunflower- yellow. The buds are long, very freely produced and delightfully fragrant. Irish Charm. This is a gem of exquisite form and absolutely distinct from any variety yet introduced. It is of strong branching habit, remarkably free-flowering. The buds and flowers are of medium size, the base of the petals a rich golden-apricot passing to a delicate blush-pink as the flowers develop. Irish Courage. A splendid addition to the list of bi-colored Roses, the color being a soft shrimp-pink merging to salmon in the fuUy expanded petals, the whole overlying a golden orange ground, this color being very pronounced at the centre of the flower.
