Tennessee Army National Guard Soldiers with the 2/278th ACR are currently deployed to Poland to be the framework nation for NATO's enhanced Forward Presence Battle Group Poland. Battle Group Poland is comprised of , , Croatian, and Romanian Soldiers who serve with the Polish 15th Mechanized Brigade as a defense and deterrence force in northeast Poland.
