D., class of1841. From 1849 to 1855 he was surgeon for the Pacific Mail Steamshipservice in CaHfornia, and for five years conducted a hospital at Sacra-mento, California. For many years he practiced his profession in Balti-more, removing from thence to Brookville, where he continued in activepractice until 1895, when he returned to Baltimore, his death occurringthere April 14, 1900.
