Also called Genuine Mammoth, Large Yellow Mammoth, True Potiron, Matmi'oih $30 Pumpkin, and Jumbo Pumpkin.—The great interest taken in growing the largest pumpkin, and the great demand for the seed, explain the reasons for the multitude of names given to it. The flesh and skin are of a bright golden color, fine grained and of excellent quality. It grows to an enormous size, three feet or more in diameter, and one to two hundred pounds or more in weight. The one from which our cut was made measured two and a-half feet high, eight feet in circumference, and weighed 185^ pounds. Packet, ioc.
