The collection of haunting pictures show how vandals have taken over the peeling walls of Thornton Fever Hospital with graffiti and how mother nature has started to reclaim what was once hers with overgrown ivy dominating the outside walls. One picture even shows a broken wooden crutch propped up against a fireplace. Other images of the medical facilities in Fife, show how the floors and roof of the building have started to cave in, leaving debris scattered. Another image shows a once sanitised tiled corridor growing moss with a forgotten pushchair lying on the floor. The spooky shots were taken by photographer and former mental health nurse, Iain McGregor (52) from Falkirk, Scotland. Iain used his Canon 5D camera, a brand he has used for six years to capture the decaying building. Iain McGregor /
