The revolutionists now resolved to set up a newgovernment, and on Tuesday, January 17, 1893,the leaders issued from the Government Build-ing a proclamation which declared the Hawaiianmonarchy abrogated, and ended by saying: 1. The Hawaiian monarchical system of gov-ernment is hereby abrogated. ^^ 2.
