Nairobi, Kenya - June 25th, 2024. An injured protester is transported on a motorcycle through a street heavy with police presence during a protest. Police and protesters engaged in day long running battles as thousands of Kenyans protested the 2024 Financial Bill being passed into law within parliament. At least five people were shot dead after Kenyan police fired live rounds at demonstrators in Nairobi and the parliament buildings were stormed by protesters.
