A military wheellock pistol, Nuremberg, circa 1650 Octagonal then round smooth bore barrel in 13 mm calibre. Over the chamber the monogram "G P S". The wheellock finely chiselled with flowers, the interior stamped "GPS" over hammer (Stöckel no. 2697) and Nuremberg proof mark. Walnut full stock with ornamentally engraved iron buttplate. Original wooden ramrod with iron tip. Elaborately crafted pistol in fine condition.
