The nest of a chimney-swift is not made, likethat of most birds, of hair, leaves, or grass, butof small twigs which the swift gathers whileflying, and which are stuck together with thebirds saliva, which is glutinous. It is very interesting to watch a swift, whichis a remarkably good flier. It never seems totire and never rests except when it is on thenest. It is on the wing all the day and is said.
