Sundial Dated 1663 in Grounds of Polesdon Lacey, Surrey, 20th century. An Edwardian sundial inscribed 'Vivat Carolus Secundus', ('God is with us') in estate located on the North Downs in Surrey, England. The Regency house was extensively remodelled in 1906 by Margaret Greville, a well-known Edwardian hostess. The future George VI and Queen Elizabeth spent part of their honeymoon here in 1923.
