Im- jiey has come from Chicago to take charge. CINCINNATI PICNIC. The first .nuuinl outing of the florists of Cinciiniati and vicinity was given at the Laiigherv Club July 12. The outing was sponsored by the Cincinnati district of the National Flower Growers' Asso- ciation and was a great success. It was the first time in the history of the local trade lliat more than (iOO persons turned out to ceJeljrate. Tlie crowd formed in jtarade style in the downtown district and then motored to the club, thirty-four miles distant. There were ]16 machines in the ])arade, all decorated with flags and natural flowers; each machine carried two ''S;iy It with Flowers" jieniiants. Fjion arri\al at the club, dinner was served and then the many contests were started, chief among which was the baseball game between the store- men iind growers. This was won by the former by a s<'ore of 11 to u. On the storemen 's team w^ere I. Zimnier, B. Meyers, E. linesman, L. Witterstaetter, F]. Roth, George H. Kesseii, E. Linskey, S. Jones and L.
