Baltimore in 1752. Panoramic. bird's eye view map created in 1817 depicts Baltimore as it was in 1752 based on memories of elderly Baltimore residents. John Moale originally sketched early Baltimore. That was in 1752. In 1817, Edward Johnson Coale created this view of what the town looked like years earlier. The bottom of the image contains many historical place references.

This is an enhanced, restored reproduction of an antique panoramic map. It has imperfections but is suitable for display and other purposes. I have selected interesting, old 19th and early 20th century graphic images for digital restoration and editing. The images were adjusted and brightened to make the images suitable for display and other purposes. The resulting image brings out many details and landmarks, making this map a great historical reference and conversation piece.
