Whereas potted geraniums tolerate some drought, cannas prefer a touch more moisture, so planting them in larger pots & containers with a suitable dish, they can be left for 7 days or more if well watered before hand. Canna 'Orange Punch' is ideal for containers as it doesn't grow too tall, ie up to about 3 feet (1m). Overwinter in sheltered frost-free greenhouse. Repot every 2 - 3 yrs.
