McDOXALD was bornOctober 6, 1852. He is the sonof the late John R. wife was Isabella McDonald, bywhom he has two sons. He is a Scotch-Canadian, a Catholic and a Unionist. His farm is located Lots 7 and 8,Ihird Concession, Indian Lands, Char-lottenburg Township, Glengarry. It con-sists of 160 acres, and is stocked with 30cattle, 9 horses, 5 swine and 60 fowl. Theyearly yield is 500 bushels grain, 100 tonshay, 50 tons corn, 200 bushels potatoesand vegetables for domestic are also 50 fruit-bearing trees, aswell as about 200 maple trees on the McDonald has had a lifes experience in farming. He has been apatron of the Cheese Board since its organization, twenty-one years ago. Hedelivers daily 500 pounds of milk to the Glen-Donald Factory.
