For early use, sow seed of the early kinds in the hot-bed, or in a box in the house,early in February, and transplant them in the open ground in April, in rows two feet apart andeighteen inches between the plants in a row; or sow in a seed-bed outside as soon as the soil can beworked, if you do not care for real early cabbage.
