A sabre M 1867 for enlisted men of the Royal Saxon Horseguard Regiment Depot piece. Slightly curved, older Saxon blade (probably a horseguard sabre M 1810) with fullers on both sides, the obverse etched with "AR" surmounted by a crown and identical inspection mark, the reverse etched with the crowned Saxon coat of arms between palm branches, on the back the maker's signature "P. Knecht in Solingen".
