[Medical Uses^—The buds of this tree, which abound witha balsamic gum, hold a high reputation in disorders of thechest and lungs—weakness, or general languor. The modeof use is to put them into a bottle of rum—the quantity of ahandful; permitting them to infuse or steep. Dose, a table-spoonful three or four times a day.
