The Womans Board of the Pacific has forty-five auxiliaries and fourBrandies. Some of the churches connected with us merely contribute toour funds, without having any missionary organization; however, theamount of money given by them would indicate considerable interest in for-eign missions. Where the minister has missionary zeal, and makes an ear-nest appeal in behalf of the w^ork, there are often encouraging results. Our mission bands are not increasing, and the secretaries would recommendspecial effort in that direction. Many of our young people belong to theChristian Endeavor Societies, and through a specially appointed committeewe have corresponded with them and sought their co-operation. Lettershave been received from many of them expressing interest in our work, andwhen they were not committed to other forms of service have signified theirdesire to help us. We may hear from some of the
