Certainly the resection-curettement operation is a more■eliable means of eradicating infection, but I have seen cases like No. 2,-ield to treatment through the canals and show a bone reconstructionfollowing such treatment. No. 3. Compared with No. 2, the resection-curettement operationis becoming more imperative. No. 4. Root resection is, I believe, definitely indicated here. Nos. 5 and 6.
