Last spring we again spoke at length of its special merits, at same time publishing what some of our customers had to say of it. We again wish to emphasize all we have previously said of it. The demand for this potato was so great last year that we were obliged to return money sent us for nearly 100 barrels our stock being entirely sold out. We urge all who desire the leading early potato to for- ward their orders for Eusign Bagley early. Our contracts cover the entire crop of them again this year, the seed being all grown in Aroostook County, Me., exclusively for us, but we are positive that our stock will not be sufii- cient for the demand again this season. The remarkable popularity of this Potato has created such a demand for the seed that several .dealers of- fered last season, potatoes which they claimed were "Ensign Bagley" but which proved to be a late, rough and unprofitable sort. Oar stock is the only genuine S3ed of this potato in existence as we positively control the entire product foi 1902. ADMIRAL FOOTE POTATO. (See cut inside front cover.) The new main crop sort, 163 barrels per acre. Some idea of the yielding qualities of this potato may be gained from the following facts: On the farm in Aroostook Co., Maine, where this potato was bred we saw it side by side with Early Hebron and the yield was fully one third larger.
