Later he engaged in the culti-vation of the old home farm and ultimatelyhe determined to establish his residence inIllinois, coming to Vermilion county in then purchased the farm upon which he. A. L. He has awindmill and waterworks upon his placeand the substantial impro\-ements wliich areever tnuiid upon a model farm. He hasbeen engaged in raising and feeding stockwhich he fattens for the market, shippingabout three car-loads of cattle and two ofhogs each year.
