A public statue of Ferdinand Foch (1851 - 1929). A French General who played a significant part in the military strategy of World War I, Foch was appointed as the first Supreme Commander of Allied Troops in 1918. He was made an honorary Field Marshall of the British Army. The statue is on public display in the Westminster district of central London.
