Unmanned Space Vehicle (USV). The USV is a multi-purpose flying laboratory that is able to execute re-entry into the Earth's atmosphere from low earth orbit. It is designed to help mainly with the development of reusable space transportation systems, specifically an 'aerospaceplane' capable of single stage flight, with horizontal take-off and landing capabilities.
