Dr. McConeghytakes keen interest in athletics and out-door in Jefferson Medical College, he was assistantmanager of the football team in 1906, and manager in1907 and 1908, and played both baseball and now turns to out-door interests for recreation andrelaxation, and still greatly enjoys the games in whichhe was prominent at college. During his vacations hetakes long fishing and motor trips, and thus keeps inexcellent trim for the exacting duties of his BIOGRAPHICAL 231 On July 16, igog, Dr. McConeghy married Elsie Wal-ker, of Mount Union, Pa., daughter of Harry E. andMargaret (Cassady) Walker, and they are the parentsof three children: Josephine Doris, Daniel James, andRobert Keating, Jr. The two older children are now(iQ2i) pupils in the public schools of this city.
