Gunterberg, newly elected president of the Ladies' S. A. F., pre- sented the president with a bunch of white gladioli. At the same time Mrs. Ella G. Wilson invited President and Mrs. Harding to attend the national flower show at Cleveland next March, and received the assurance that they would if it were possible. A basket of roses and delphiniums were presented to Mrs. Harding. • • * • Only the inability of the exhibition floor to support it prevented the display of the usual Kroeschell boiler. Fred Lautenschlager took one to Washing- ton, where it was installed in the De- partment of Agriculture greenhouses. • • • * Joseph Manda held the office of judge of election.
