Emschscholtzia, (California Poppy.) An exceedingly showy class of plants, bearing a profusion of richly colored flowers; are perfectly hardy and will grow in any soil and bloom all sum- mer ; will not bear transplanting. Gaillardia, Mixed. Very beautiful annuals making showy plants one to two feet high, large flowers produced from early summer until frost, splen- did for cutting. Gilia. Profuse blooming and hand- some dwarf annuals tor massing in flower beds or for rockeries; can be planted at any season. Godetia, Mixed. Handsome annuals of dwarf, compact growth, bearing freely large flowers of exquisite colors and shades, glistening like satin. These superb annuals are quite hardy and are indispensible where a really fine show is required. Ice Plant. A very pretty little trail- ing annual, fine for vases or rock- work. The leaves and stem covered with sparkling ice like globules. Larkspur, Mixed. Very ornamental free blooming plants of erect branch- ing habit.
