This male mute swan was gracefuly preening or grooming his feathers and his head was laid backwards to get at the inner wing plumage. The large black knob at the top of the base of the bill shows it is a male. Taken in Febuary 2019 at arundel even though a few seconds earlier an electric wwt boat had sailed past.
