Senior Master Sgt. Jerome Smolarek, 512th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron flying crew chief, flew with a C-5M Super Galaxy crew from the reserve unit at Dover, Del., that landed at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., January 12, 2018. After landing, the aircraft faced some mechanical difficulties and had to wait for crew chiefs and parts before the plane could be fixed and head back home.
